While talking to members of a Ukrainian drone team we where told their SOP's had been updated and that they now had to carry multiple IFAK's.

This is due to the number of shrapnel injuries they are experiencing where the casualties IFAK is also damaged by shrapnel causing issues for their immediate treatment.

Our solution is simple yet effective and has been improved with feedback from special forces operators.

We designed a laser cut IFAK insert utilising the very latest in tactical plastics to be inserted inside the operators plate carrier where the ballistic plate can protect not only the operator but the contents of their IFAK.

A laser cut and etched laminate pull tab is attached to the base of the insert to alert those around the user of their IFAK's location.

The IFAK's contents are attached to the insert utilising a shock cord retention system allowing the user to set up the insert to match the equipment they are required to carry and their scope of practice.

A sealable plastic bag then covers the IFAK insert to reduce drag and increase deployment speed and efficiency.
